Forced ventilation system takes air from front of enclosure and exhaust it through a vent(s) located on the side of the enclosure

Exhaust Fan - Capacitor & Harmonic Filter Bank Forced Ventilation System

For added cooling, NEPSI's capacitor banks and harmonic filter banks may be equipped with one or more thermostatically controlled exhaust fans. Typically these exhaust fans are located on the inside of the enclosure and force air to circulate through the front of the enclosure to the side panel(s) as shown in the pictures to the left and right.

All louvers are backed (covered) with a stainless steel mesh to prevent rod and rodent entry. For dusty environments, washable mesh filters can be supplied to reduce the entry of dust.

Both the fan and the louvers can be designed to be removable without entry into the medium voltage compartment. This option is not standard, and should be specified.

Exhaust Fan

Typically the exhaust fan is located on the inside of the enclosure for added life and protection from the environment
